The Sweat Vs Steam is a unique13KM (or 5KM) fun run along Australia's greatest river, the
iconic Murray River
where runners are pitted against Australia's oldest paddlesteamer,
the PS Adelaide. Much of the run follows the river track along the banks of the Murray
where runners enjoy sweeping views of the river and are surrounded by
majestic river redgums. The run then winds through the historic Port of Echuca,
goes under the old iron bridge and along more river tracks before returning to finish by the Murray River
in Echuca. |

The opposing team at the start from a previous Sweat Vs Steam - the
runners. Considered by many runners to be the one regional
fun run not to be missed. Why? Some say the tracks are the best you'll
find, others say it's the scenery and others because you have a real
chance of beating old Adelaide. We think its the friendliness of Echuca,
the free breakfast and the beautiful weather. Want to know more about Echuca's weather -
